THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. (b) Although proposal, offeror, contractor, and offeror may be used in this sources sought notice, any response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) Any information received from a contractor in response to this Sources Sought may be used in creating a solicitation. Any information received which is marked with a statement, such as proprietary or confidential, intended to restrict distribution will not be distributed outside of the Government, except as required by law. (d) This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes to gain knowledge of qualified sources in order to determine an acquisition strategy. (e) Contractors that can meet the requirement are encouraged to respond to this notice. Responses shall include the company name, address, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, DUNS number and capability statement. Contractors shall indicate their socioeconomic status. SDVOSB and VOSB concerns shall indicate whether they are VIP registered. DESCRIPTION/SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS QUANTITY UNIT COST GE XR 118 Digital Imaging System, Brand Name or Equal Specifications/Salient Characteristics: Compatible with GE Proteus X-Ray Machine Flash Pad Wireless Digital Detector Wireless Connectivity from detector to system Detector battery can take up to 50 exposures per hour and provide for three (3) hours of use on a single charge This requirement includes shipping and door-to-door delivery to Manila, Philippines. Interested offerors shall demonstrate the capability to provide on-site installation, training and after sales service support in Manila, Philippines 1 Alternate Item submission: Offerors submitting alternate items must provide technical information sufficient for a lay person to determine acceptability. Information will not be paid for by the government nor returned to the supplying party. The information will be used to determine product acceptability. Lack of sufficient information for our staff to determine product acceptability will result in a negative determination. Any quote will then be found non-responsiveness to the solicitation and the quote will not be considered. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured, used/refurbished or "gray market" items. All items shall be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. No product in development shall be considered. Authorized dealers: Experienced firms only who are authorized distributors will be considered in addition to the original equipment manufacturer. A letter from the manufacturer stating your company is an authorized dealer for the line items must be in possession by the due date and be available for submission, if requested.
