The Healthcare Acquisition Activity-North, Ft. Detrick, Md., intends to issue a firm-fixed-price, sole source Purchase Order to Glenveigh Medical, LLC, for the purchase of two (2) each Beacon by Monica, Abdominal ECG Fetal Monitor with Components. This purchase is for L&D Clinic at Keesler Air Force Base. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for commercially available items. Only one responsible source is reasonably available because the Beacon by Monica, fetal monitor is distributed and sold by an agent who has exclusive distribution rights. The Abdominal ECG Monitor with components includes the AN24 wireless monitor with ECG leads and interface box with cables. It accurately monitors maternal contractions and fetal heart rate with wireless capability. It allows the mother to ambulate freely, differentiates between fetal and maternal heart rates, used effectively on patients with a high BMI, and is compatible with Corometrics 250X series FHM. The cost of this award is $19,744.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334510 and the size standard is 500 Employees. All responsible sources may submit a response. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement will be based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
