INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN 6) Central Acquisition Service intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Toshiba America Medical Systems for the purchase of a high voltage inverter. This is an EMERGENCY replacement part for a Toshiba Aquilion 64 CT Scanner located at the Asheville VA Medical Center. NAICS code 423450 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for an equipment component for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested persons may identify their interest in this requirement no later than 1:00 PM EST, June 26, 2010 to: Dori Dabbs, Contract Specialist, at contact@example.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available.
