VISN 1 Contracting Activity intends to negotiate and procure on a sole source basis the Repair of the GE Proteus X-Ray System The following item is in need of repairs and as a result is affecting direct patient care. These repairs are being procured to cover the immediate needed for the X-Ray system located within the ER Department at the VA Medical center, West Haven, CT. The vendor is Classic Diagnostic Imaging LLC 30745 Solon Rd. Suite 6, Solon, OH 44139 This procurement is being conducted under Unusual and Compelling Urgency per FAR 6.302-2. The NAICS 423450 with a size standard of 100 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Specialist within five (5) business days from the date of publication of this synopsis.
