Full Description

The North Atlantic Regional Contracting office, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC 28310 issues a Pre-Solicitation that the Governments intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source Contract using other than full and open competition to S&G Enterprises, INC., from N115 W 19000 Edison Drive, Germantown, WI 53022-3024, as they are the sole manufacturer and supplier of the Vyleater Shredder. This award will be firm fixed only and is set aside for small business only. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ-10-T-0015. This requirement is considered all or none. All parties must be able to submit proposals, literature and statement that they meet all requirements listed below - not partials that meet technical requirements. Technical requirements as follows: Single machine that shreds vials and drains fluid; Reduces disposal costs by separating liquid waster from aggregate shredded plastic containers which then can be recycled versus being disposed of as regulated medical waster; Vyleater Vial Shredder both rated CLS; 1 Div, 1 Group D Explosion proff; NEMA 7/9 control enclosure, Stainless Steel Vibratory Conveyor, 12 Mesh with mesh separating screens; flexible nylon fume solids discharge sleeves, polypropylene liquid drain hoses, 250-CFM Exhaust Blower, Corrosionresistant Paint with 2 part epoxy primer and topcost, stainless steel fasteners with one year warranty; 3 Jet Converyor and 1 Jet Hopper Flush System with pressure regulator and cental ball valve on/off control; Metering Pump with 110 v cord and plug; Shredder with 304 SS cutters and nickel plated housing; Two-Drain valve control; pre-installation and Evaluation with delivery; On-site Operation and Maintenance. No substitues, comparables, or compatibles will be accepted. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals in full. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses in future announcements shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certification to clearly meet requirements stated above. All responses must be received by 21 September 2010 at 0700 AM EST via email to Donna Blossom at contact@example.gov. No telephonic request will be responded to.
