Full Description

The Overton Brook VAMC, Shreveport, LA is seeking to purchase nine (9) Desktop PC s for the purpose of running the Mosaiq System. The Mosaiq Record and Verify System contain all patient and treatment planning information, and control the linear accelerator to delivery high-dose radiation treatments for cancer patients. The Mosaiq system needs to be operational to the greatest extent to arrive at favorable treatment outcomes (life or death). Currently, the Mosaiq system is accessed via several enterprise OI&T computers in Radiation Oncology. The Mosaiq is an FDA system, and has very specific communication settings and protocols, which are not fully compatible with the settings on the existing OI&T enterprise computers. The incompatibility has resulted in several Mosaiq outages which directly impact the service s ability to deliver treatment for our cancer patients. The procurement of nine dedicated Mosaiq computers is needed to alleviate the compatibility issue, and create a more stable Mosaiq environment. SEE ATTACHED RFQ # VA256-17-Q-0566
