Statement of Work Procurement of: Interacoustics Eclipse EP25 System and associated components is necessary to support auditory rehabilitation research activities to be conducted by the National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research, including a proposed study entitled, Longitudinal Effects of Antibiotic Treatment on Auditory Physiological and Behavioral Responses in Patients with Cystic Fibrosis. Dr. Patrick Feeney is the Director/NCRAR, and will serve as the Principal Investigator for this study, though it is anticipated that this system will permit shared use among multiple additional research studies that would benefit from using this equipment. The Eclipse EP25 System is a hardware platform used to objectively assess various components of hearing function. The system records auditory-evoked potentials and the research module is essential for more flexible recording parameters and analyses that are requisite for the proposed research. An added benefit to this particular system is that it is expandable, and modules can be purchased in the future that enable additional tests, such as otoacoustic emissions and vestibular-evoked myogenic potentials. The Eclipse EP25 System is to be used for a multi-site grant proposal for which both sites will be collecting data using the same system, with the identical stimuli. The collaborating site already owns this exact system and associated components. This procurement will enable both sites to have identical equipment, and collect and combine data from identical systems, which is imperative to the proposed research collaboration. The Eclipse 25EP System will compare changes in the auditory brainstem response (ABR) waves I and V in Cystic Fibrosis patients undergoing antibiotic treatment. List of items to be purchased: Interacoustics Eclipse EP25 System Controller (Medical grade laptop with plug and play and minimum of Windows 7) ISB-060A Interacoustics ISO Transformer 8107581 Interacoustics Eclipse Research Module
