The VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements with 1st American Distributors a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Company who is the sole distributor for MedRad, a division of Bayer that manufactures the MedRad Certegra IV Contrast Injection Dose Information System. This requirement will include the following characteristics: Product Description The proposed procurement is for the MedRad Certegra contrast injection system dose management and communication system This is to include hardware, software, licensing, installation and configuration support. This system will allow for the tracking and automated communication of contrast injection data. The system will also provide contrast dose calculation to improve outcomes, study reproducibility and cost savings. VISN 1 uses MedRad injectors exclusively , this is a vendor specific proprietary system designed integrate with the existing injectors. This purchase is a continuation of the deployment of this technology within VISN 1. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
