65--Notice of Intent

The U.S. Army Medical Command’s Western Regional Contracting Office in Tacoma, Washington, plans to issue a sole source procurement contract valued at $39,600 to Alter G, Inc. for the purchase of the M320 Medical Anti-Gravity Treadmill. This equipment will be provided to the 2nd Battalion, 75th Regiment at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma. Alter G, Inc. holds proprietary rights as the original equipment manufacturer, including ownership of all related software, services, and maintenance, justifying the sole source acquisition under FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1). This notice serves only as a formal announcement of intent and is not a solicitation or request for proposal. While no competitive bidding will be conducted, firms capable of supplying similar services are invited to submit documentation of their qualifications for consideration in future procurements. Responses must be submitted via email to the designated Purchasing Agent, Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, with no telephone or fax inquiries accepted. The procurement process will follow Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined in FAR Part 13.
