MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a firm fixed price order under FAR Part 6.302-1 to Karl Storz Endoscopy- America, Inc. in the estimated amount of $36,139.60 to purchase working elements for Hysteroscope Units. Karl Storz Endoscopy- America, Inc. is the only manufacturer of these components that are compatible with the existing Hysteroscope Units currently located at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Tacoma, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quote and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products' capabilities and specifications.
