Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with TrillaMed, LLC (DUNS: 828126321), pursuant to FAR part 12, FAR part 13, and specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and VAAR 819.7007 procedures. The proposed sole source purchase order is for an equipment and software refresh of the existing GE Carescape patient monitoring system at the VA Asheville Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. The NAICS code for this contract action is 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The Product Service Code for this action is 6515, Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies. TrillaMed, LLC (DUNS: 828126321) is the only Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business distributor for GE Healthcare identified by the manufacturer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Wednesday, January 18, 2016, 05:00PM EST. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
