Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Southern Region Contracting Office, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source Contract to Alcon Laboratories, a large business, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1 (a)(2)(i) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements for Allegretto Wave Cards for the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, TX. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339113, and the size standard is 500. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement.
