The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion, Indiana intends to negotiate with Heidelberg Engineering,Inc., 1499 Poinsettia Ave, Suite 160, Vista, CA, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 6.302 for purchase of a Spectralis HRA + OCT Laser Scanning Imaging System (Ocular Fluorphotometer). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any written response, which may be sent to the Contracting Officer via fax at +1 (555) 000-0000, must be provided by 2:00 p.m., September 19, 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
