Tricare Region 1 is seeking potential sources to participate in a regional standardization initiative for Sequential Compression Devices across Army, Air Force, and Navy medical treatment facilities in the northeastern United States. This effort aims to establish a single source Regional Incentive Agreement through a product evaluation process. Selected participants must be able to meet regional volume requirements, provide demonstration products and in-service training at no cost, and potentially conduct product presentations based on specific technical and clinical criteria. To be eligible, vendors must hold a Distribution And Pricing Agreement with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, as products are purchased through the DSCP and the prime vendor, Owens and Minor. Companies not currently holding a DAPA may still participate provided they initiate the enrollment process. Interested parties must submit their company name, DAPA number, address, and point of contact information to the designated logistician or clinical analyst by December 19, 2002.

The vendor must be able to meet regional product volumes, provide products for demonstration and evaluati on at no charge, as well as provide product and in-service information to the designated MTF staff on all shifts. Initially, the vendor may be requested to participate in a product presentation and demonstration. A list of technical and clinical criteria will be provided to all vendors who choose to participate. The vendor/participants must be a holder of Distribution And Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). Products are purchased through DSCP and the prime vendor for Region 1, Owens & Minor. If your company is not a current DAPA holder you are still eligible to participate by contacting the DSCP representative for DAPA enrollment John Charalabidis at +1 (555) 000-0000 or Helen Connor at +1 (555) 000-0000.
