The Government intends to award a sole sour ce contract (NOTE 22) for this requirement (BASE + 3 OPTION YEARS). The suggested contractor is Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. 1965 Evergreen Blvd STE 300, Duluth, GA 30096-1208. Request is for annual service contract to cover the cost of preventive maintenance and repair on the MRI System located in the Department of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Ft. Jackson, SC. Toshiba Medical Systems is the m anufacturer of this equipment and can provide timely service. This equipment utilizes proprietary hardware and computer software that can only be maintained by the manufacturer. This is not a request for proposal.
