65--SURGICAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT (BRAINLAB INC.)

The Department of Veterans Affair, Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, PR intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Brainlab, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System for the equipment system is 423450 and Business Size Standard 100 employees. This procurement action is to purchase a Brainlab, Inc. Vector Vision Compact Navigation System for Orthopedics - Trauma, Knee & Hip. This Package includes hardware, software, training, Vector Vision System installation and disposable material required to implement this system at the San Juan Caribbean Healthcare System. Procurement contingent upon availability of funds. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available.
