Description:This is a commercial item acquisition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, this will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Miami VA Healthcare System, Bruce W. Carter Miami VA Medical Center is seeking qualified contractors to submit responsive bids for the purchase and installation of patient privacy screens.. The delivery and installation location shall be the Miami VA hereafter known as MVAH at 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, Florida 33125. We are seeking Silenta or equal patient screens to be used within patient rooms. The screens are to be delivered and installed at our Nursing Home Care Unit and Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The total number of patient privacy screens required is 20; installation will be required. This proposal calls for a total of 20 panels measuring as follow: 128 inches in length by 73 inches in height. The delivered weight is: 52.9 lbs per each time 20 panels for a total weight of $1,058 lbs. The vendor must have the ability to transport the patient privacy screens to the MVAH from the Miami International Airport approximately 8 miles away. The need for the MVAH is considered urgent due to direct patient care concerns... NAICS Code 423450, Size Standard 100 employees.
