Solicitation # 5730
The City of Redding, California, is soliciting proposals under Schedule No. 5730 to provide a complete, commercial-grade furnishing solution for a new maintenance personnel building located at 17120 Clear Creek Rd, Redding, CA 96001. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of durable office furniture for private and shared offices, a conference room, a break room, and reception areas. Key deliverables include inside delivery, room-by-room staging, assembly, and the removal of all packaging debris. To avoid public works installation classifications, the contract expressly excludes wall-mounted panel systems, modular office systems, and any items requiring permanent attachment to the building or licensed electrical work. The City will utilize a two-step evaluation process to determine the award based on the best overall value, considering technical quality, product suitability, warranty, and service support alongside cost. Technical scoring is conducted first, followed by a cost evaluation weighted at 25 points. Proposals must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. PT on November 12, 2026, and must include a signed cover letter, a detailed furniture schedule, and a pricing form submitted in a separate sealed envelope. The successful vendor will be required to provide a primary contact for warranty and service support, and payment for undisputed invoices will be made within 30 calendar days of receipt.

STATEMENT OF WORK The John D Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI 48201 intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Compumedics USA, 7850 Paseo Del Norte, El Paso, TX 79912. The proposed contract action is for the purchase of a Siesta 802-PSG multifunction Wireless and Ambulatory Recording System. This Siesta 802-PSG System is unique in that it provides a wireless integrated platform for the simultaneous measurement of multiple physiological parameters, including electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography, eye movements, respiratory movements and respiratory gases in a single system and also provides HL7 interface and database capabilities. It also is supplemental with a video-monitoring system. The wireless nature of the system is crucial as it allows "portability" in that the system can be easily relocated to a different area of the hospital in a short notice. The system must have the capability for HL7/Vista interface. This interface is imperative for the system to be compatible with CPRS System. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far. This notice of intent is not a request is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely the discretion of the government.
