65--Special Notice of Intent

The Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO) in Lacey, Washington, intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract valued at approximately $29,876 to Johnson & Johnson Healthcare System for the procurement of the Codman Malis CMC-V Bipolar Electrosurgical Generator. This specialized equipment will be utilized at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, Texas, primarily for neurology procedures to precisely cut and coagulate brain tissue during craniotomy surgeries. The device incorporates unique patented Wave Form Technology and is proprietary to the Codman division of Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes, which holds sole distribution and service rights for this electrosurgical generator.
