This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested. The solicitation number is W81K00-13-T-M093 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-69 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Publication Notice (DPN) 20130808. The Southern Regional Contracting Office intends to award a minimum of two (2) Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) to quoters that are determined technically acceptable and offer a fair and reasonable price. Supplies are for the daily rental of specialty / therapy hospital beds. BPA(s) will be established under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. BPA(s) issued as a result of this solicitation will have a single bulk call limit of up to $300,000.00, with a maximum overall BPA limit of $500,000.00. BPA calls/orders will be based on patient need and physician preference. The MTF will schedule deliveries against the bulk call as needed based on patient census/need. Offerors are reminded that, in the event they receive a BPA, calls/orders are not guaranteed. Funds are not obligated on the BPA, but only on any issued calls/orders. The anticipated period of performance is 1 October 2013 through 30 September 2014.
