The US Army Medical Command Southeast Region has a requirement for 1 each St. Jude Medical Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant System with vendor representative in attendance during surgical procedure for patient specific surgery. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) and FAR 6.302-2 Unusual and Compelling Urgency. The suggested contractor is: Saint Jude Medical, Inc., 1 Saint Jude Medical Drive, Saint Paul, MN 55117-1799. 1 each Rechargeable IPG, 16 channel, item #: 3716 2 each 60cm Octrode permanent leads, item #: 3186 1 each patient programmer, item #: 3851 1 each mobile charging system, item #: 3711 2 each Swift Lock Anchor, item #: 1192 This is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. However, companies that can provide an equal product MUST SUBMIT THEIR TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES TO INCLUDE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF THEIR PRODUCT, PAST PERFORMANCE INFORMATION, PRICE, DELIVERY TIME AND TECHNICAL/MEDICAL SUPPORT within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives from Eisenhower Army Medical Center for consideration for future requirements.
