The system must include a History Report that allows healthcare providers to monitor and track the therapy usage and delivery. The settings must be Programmable settings for continuous and intermittent therapy and allow customized treatment to meet individual patient needs between 25 - 200 mmHg. The system must have audible and visual alarms that identify tubing blockages, dressing leaks, full canisters, and low battery conditions for enhanced patient safety. The system must have two sizes of dedicated canisters available to meet the needs of various wound treatments, 500ml and 1000ml. The battery life must be at least 6 hours and the unit weight cannot exceed 10 lbs. All salient features must be met. This announcement is for the online access for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. All interest received on or before 22 April 2009 will be evaluated by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
