The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a Sources Sought Notice to assess the interest and capability of potential contractors, including small businesses and veteran-owned small businesses, for the procurement of specialized ultrasound equipment under NAICS Code 334510. This market research effort seeks authorized vendors capable of supplying a comprehensive package of ELLEX ABSOLU ultrasound consoles and associated probes, including biometry A-scan probes, B-scan probes, a linear high-resolution probe, and various accessories such as DICOM software, a wireless footswitch, an ultrasound cart, and clinical training. The equipment is intended for diagnostic ophthalmology applications, including axial eye length measurement, retinal lesion identification, tumor diagnosis, and other advanced ocular assessments. Vendors must be prepared to comply with VA network and security requirements, including risk assessment documentation. The requested equipment will be delivered to the Clement J. Zablocki facility in Milwaukee, WI. Interested parties must submit information demonstrating their qualifications, capabilities, business size, socioeconomic status, and manufacturer distribution authorization. This notice is strictly for market research and not a solicitation; no proposals, quotes, or obligations arise at this stage.
