The award, totaling $360,000, was granted to Advanced Sterilization Products Services Inc. as a limited-source, urgent acquisition initiated under FAR 6.302-2 for unusual and compelling urgency. The key deliverable is the supply of these sterilizer units, classified under Product Service Code 6515 and NAICS code 339112, reflecting medical device manufacturing. The contract was awarded on November 6, 2025, with a notice of intent submission deadline dated October 27, 2025, indicating an expedited procurement process to meet immediate VA facility requirements. Specific details regarding quantities, unit pricing, delivery schedules, and place of performance are not disclosed, nor are technical specifications or performance requirements beyond the basic product description. Documentation lacks detailed contract clauses, including FAR provisions, packaging and marking instructions, inspection and acceptance criteria, evaluation factors, or special contract requirements, suggesting a simplified award notice rather than a complete contract package. The contracting office manages administration but no invoicing or payment specifics are provided. Communication is handled through the identified contract specialist, Jennifer Mead. Submission instructions for the notice of intent required formal email correspondence without a prescribed format or file type and included no portal-based system. No socioeconomic status designations, security clearances, or additional reporting requirements such as recovery act compliance or small business participation were indicated. Overall, this contract represents an urgent, non-competitive equipment purchase aimed at rapidly addressing sterilization needs within VA medical facilities, with minimal documentation publicly available on terms, conditions, or evaluation methodologies.
