In accordance with FAR 10, Market Research, responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to the Sources Sought Notice. The purpose of this announcement is to gain market research knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification. The Department of Veterans Affairs Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, 1111 East End Blvd Wilkes Barre, PA 18711, is seeking potential sources capable of providing (2) new complete EMG systems and an HL7 management server to update hardware, applications, and operating system in accordance with the Draft Statement of Need (SON) below.

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted directly via email to jefferson.mann@va.gov. Responses that only include generic marketing material and do not provide for capability to meet requirements may not be considered. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm ET, 05/22/2026. No solicitation document is available at this time. This notice is simply for Market Research Purposes Only. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. The VA will not reimburse any potential contractors for any costs associated with this Sources Sought Notice.
Statement of Need Electromyographs
Background:
Wilkes-Barre VAMC is seeking replacement Electromyograph (EMG) systems and an HL7/Database Server. The upgrade will include an upgrade to the Hospital Level 7 (HL7) interface application to ensure the secure transfer of patient data between the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and the EMG instruments. The vendor shall supply new complete EMG systems and an updated HL7 management server application to ensure Wilkes-Barre VAMC will have (2) fully functional EMG systems with updated applications, hardware, and operating systems.
The Natus Nicolet EDX System is a Name Brand Product provided for reference of salient characteristics only. Salient Characteristics:
