GENERAL: Building 42, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705, has a requirement for radiation shielding equipment. The radiation shielding equipment is necessary for clinicians to provide patients care.
BACKGROUND: Building 42 has a requirement for radiation shielding equipment.
PURPOSE: The radiation shielding equipment is required for the protection of employees from high-energy radionuclides during the receiving and preparation of unit doses for patients. and is critical for the safe handling of radioactive materials. This equipment is essential for maintaining safety protocols and compliance with radiation protection standards and is crucial for patient care at Building 42, Radiation Oncology.
SCOPE: Building 42 is requesting contractors to provide brand name or equal equipment that meets or exceeds the physical, functional, and performance of the listed salient characteristics in this section. The equipment feature is essential to the technical requirements to meet the needs of the Hot Lab.
