All responses to this Sources Sought/RFI will be used for planning purposes only. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI are not considered a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. If further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcement is issued as a result of the information provided from this RFI, all interested parties must respond to the specific posting separately IAW the specifications of that announcement. Salient Characteristics for Scanners, Camera, and Printer Scanners must be Zebra DS3678-DP2F403VTNA wireless scanner or equal with the following salient characteristics: Must be compatible with Windows 11 at minimum and Must be compatible with the currently installed instrument tracking system -CensiTrac instrument tracking system. The units must be able to scan on DPM and Standard 1D/2D Barcodes The units must be able to withstand harsh environments, the highest drop, tumble and sealing specifications: Tumble Specification: 7500 3.3 ft./1.0 m tumbles Sealing Scanner: IP65 and IP68 per applicable IEC sealing Specifications FLB cradle: IP65 Drop Specification: must be able to withstand multiple 8.0 ft/2.4 m drops to concrete The units must have dual IP65/IP68 sealing, be dust proof, and withstand the force of jetting water and be fully submerged in water. The units must be built to withstand extreme heat, cold and humidity. These specifics must fall within the following specs: Operating Temp.: Cordless: -4° F to 122° F/-20° C to 50° C Storage Temp.: -40° F to 158° F/-40° C to 70° C Humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing The units must be able to capture marks on multiple types of surfaces including reflective, irregular and curves as well as low and high contrast marks. The units must be able to read up to 20 barcodes with one press of the scan trigger The units must be equipped with cradle and charging contacts The units must be able to identify and correct problem barcodes with ScanSpeed or similar Analytics Camera The cameras must be compatible with Windows 11. The resolution must be 720p or higher with a built-in mic. The camera must autofocus. Printer The printers must be able to connect wired and wireless networks and connect directly to any PC. The printers must be able to be powered through a full shift with the high-capacity battery. The Print methods must be Thermal Transfer or Direct Thermal. The resolution must be 203 dpi/8 dots per mm, 300 dpi/12 dots per mm, or equivalent. The printer must be portable and able to fit on small workstations. The dimensions must be between the following: Direct Thermal: 8.69 in. L x 6.98 in. W x 5.93 in. H 220.8 mm L x 177.5 mm W x 150.7mm H Thermal Transfer Roll: 10.5 in. L x 8.0 in. W x 7.44 in. H 267 mm L x 202 mm W x 189 mm H Thermal Transfer Cartridge: 10.0 in. L x 8.0 in. W x 7.0 in. H 254 mm L x 202 mm W x 177 mm H
