Solicitation # 36c24826r0124
Solicitation 36C24826R0124 is a firm-fixed-price requirements contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 for the renovation and expansion of the Cardiology service administrative space at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. The project involves approximately 6,000 square feet of construction on the third floor of Building 1, encompassing selective demolition, site preparation, architectural finishes, and comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology systems work. The estimated project magnitude is between 2,000,000 and 5,000,000 dollars, with a base performance period of 540 to 548 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. This procurement is strictly set aside for certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Award will be determined using a trade-off process where technical factors—including relevant past performance, technical approach, project planning, safety, infection control, quality control, and project schedule—are combined and weighted approximately equal to price. Offerors must submit a bid guarantee of 20 percent of the bid price or 3,000,000 dollars, whichever is less, and provide a current Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 1.0 or less. Due to the operational hospital environment, strict adherence to ICRA/PCRA controls, safety protocols, and minimal disruption to services is required. The closing date for the receipt of proposals has been extended to November 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST.
