The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Sun Nuclear Corporation for the procurement of radiotherapy quality assurance equipment and associated installation, training, and support services at the Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC). Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 12.102(a) soliciting from a single source. The Contractor shall provide Sun Nuclear-brand QA equipment and software, including SunCHECK, PerFRACTION Measure, PerFRACTION Dosimetry, Daily QA 3, MultiMet-WL Cube, as well as remote installation, project management, custom beam modeling, and education units, in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, conditions, and provisions of this contract. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these requirements, possesses relevant experience, and can provide equivalent products and services may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
