AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, through the 262-NETWORK Contract Office 22, is seeking market research information for a wireless telemetry system to be installed and supported at the GLA VA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. The requirement, classified under NAICS code 339112 for Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, calls for a complete solution including supply, installation, configuration, validation, and ongoing technical support for a wireless telemetry system that must be fully interoperable with existing Philips IntelliVue monitoring infrastructure. The system must provide continuous, real-time ECG monitoring for adult and pediatric patients, feature lightweight wearable transmitters with color displays, configurable alarms, and seamless integration with the facility’s current network without requiring additional hardware or software modifications. All equipment must be FDA-cleared, new, current production, and covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty, with specific physical dimensions and weight requirements as outlined. Responses must be submitted by July 30, 2026, via email to the designated point of contact and must include detailed company information, SAM registration number, small business classification, product name, manufacturer details, and a declaration of whether the responder is the original equipment manufacturer. Respondents must also disclose any existing federal contracts for similar systems, estimate installation timeline, provide general pricing for market analysis, and submit comprehensive capability statements with verifiable reference contracts demonstrating direct experience in deploying and supporting identical or similar telemetry solutions in medical settings. Subcontractor involvement must be fully documented with the same level of reference detail. Failure to provide all requested information may result in the government concluding the responder lacks the capability to perform the work, potentially affecting procurement set-aside decisions. Participation in this RFI does not constitute a solicitation or binding contract, and responders bear all costs associated with their submission.
