Background The Dental Service Department is a vital service within the Oklahoma City VAMC to provide dentistry for our veterans. The new activation of the Norman Dental clinic will require an implant console. Project Scope The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center is looking to purchase consoles, foot pedals, motors, and handpieces for the new Norman Dental Clinic. This is new equipment for a new clinic. Brand name or equal is acceptable see below minimum requirements. A&A requirements do not apply and Security package not needed. Specifications The Oklahoma City VAMC Implant system equipment specifications are designed to outline all the Oklahoma City VAMC Dental Service and Biomedical Engineering requirements. These requirements will be provided to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) before final approval. The system must be compatible with ZimVie implants. W&H is what is currently being used with a high level of success. The Implant system equipment specifications are provided below: 6.2 Ncm for all bone qualities and 90 ml/min coolant to prevent necrosis during osteotomy.
