(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number 36C26226Q1379 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025. (iv) This solicitation will be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside, to a business associated with The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code, 339114, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 750 employees. (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for high speed dental surgical handpieces for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: Must: Be a High Torque 45° angle dental surgical handpiece Have a Tri-port irrigation system for delivery from multiple angles Have a titanium body Have rear exhaust design to prevent air jets from disturbing the operative site
