The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its VISN 02 Network Contracting Office, is conducting market research via a Sources Sought Notice for a complete digital intraoral scanning system to be delivered to the Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Medical Center in New York, NY. This notice is not a solicitation and does not obligate the government to award a contract; it is issued solely for planning and information purposes under FAR 15.201(e). Respondents are invited to provide detailed information regarding their ability to supply the TRIOS 6 EDU digital intraoral scanner system or an equivalent solution, along with five Dell Precision 7680 mobile workstations, all necessary mounting hardware, peripherals, software licenses, subscriptions, training, and support services required to establish a fully operational digital workflow. The system must ensure seamless integration between the scanner and workstation, support unlimited case communication via a 3Shape Communication Account, enable remote onboarding and clinical training by 3Shape-certified personnel, incorporate rechargeable battery operation with both reusable and disposable scanning tips, and provide secure case management and patient engagement tools. The VA has a domestic preference for items manufactured in the United States, and respondents must clearly indicate the origin of their products. Responses must include the company’s full details, Sam.gov Unique Entity ID, business size status relative to NAICS code 339114 (750 employees), and whether the respondent is the manufacturer, distributor, or reseller. Small businesses must specify if they alter, assemble, or modify the equipment, while large businesses must disclose any designated distributors. Respondents are required to attest to their socioeconomic status, such as SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, or HUBZone, and to indicate if they hold existing federal contracts like GSA Schedule, NAC, or NASA SEWP and whether the required items are available under them. Pricing information is encouraged but strictly for market research and will not affect any future award decision. All submissions must be sent via email to the designated point of contact by July 13, 2026, at 1600 EST; telephone responses are not accepted. The government will evaluate responses to identify qualified sources and inform future acquisition strategies, with any formal solicitation to be issued separately at a later date, requiring a new, distinct submission.
