The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its Network Contracting Office 8, has issued a Sources Sought notice for 10 Computer and Assembly All in One Workstations to be used in the Sterile Processing Service at the C.W. “Bill” Young VAMC in Bay Pines, Florida. This action is intended solely for market research and planning purposes to assess the availability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) capable of meeting the detailed technical requirements, and it does not constitute a formal solicitation or a promise to issue one. The workstations must be constructed of stainless steel, measure at least 72 inches long by 30 inches deep, and feature height adjustability between 35 and 45 inches, along with 4-inch swivel casters with brakes, an overhead LED light, an under-desk eight-outlet power strip, a rear pegboard with space for one bin and two shelves, a pull-out drawer and shelf, a side computer shelf, and a keyboard arm. The requirement is classified under NAICS code 339112 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees and is targeted as an SDVOSB set-aside, with contingency to consider VOSB or general Small Business set-asides if insufficient qualified responses are received. Vendors interested in participating are asked to submit a capability statement via email to William S. Penhallegon by July 9, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and must be registered in SAM and able to verify SDVOSB, VOSB, or Small Business status. While this notice does not request pricing or formal proposals, the eventual solicitation, if issued, will follow through on the outlined specifications and contract type of Supply, Firm, Fixed Price, with anticipated delivery required no later than September 30, 2026.
