Full Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Mount Sopris Instrument Company., located Denver, CO. 80216 for purchase of digital, optical borehole imaging equipment (QL40-OBI-2G)., to be delivered to Davie FL 33314 within 30 days of award. There are no option periods. Mount Sopris Instruments, is the sole source provider of the QL4-OBI-2G Optical Borehole Imager Second Generation. There are no resellers, only Mount Sopris can sell new ALT equipment in the US. ALT is an European partner of Mount Sopris and makes the OBI-2G for Mount Sopris that only works on Mount Sopris winches with the Mount Sopris Matrix control unit. . In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
