Full Description

The Kentucky Air National Guard Contracting Office intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Aviation Specialities Unlimited for the following: (2 EA) Hoffman ANV-126A-UG/F Night Vision Test Set Upgrade Kits. This solicitation is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 333314 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government believes that Avaiation Specialties Unlimited is the only source and the exclusive dealer for Hoffman Engineering ANV 126A-UG/F, and as such has the proprietary information and design expertise to provide this tester, which is the sole approved Night Vision Test set to be used to inspect and evaluate Air Force approved Night Vision Goggles. This notce is NOT a request for quote. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the government's requirement by providing sufficient technical literature and ability/capability authorizing them to provide the exact upgrade kits from Hoffman Engineering, on or before 1000 (Eastern), 8 February 2010. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement.
