The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1) Berkeley Nucleonics Model 745-8C-GOC, Qty 3; 2) Model 745-NRE Non-Recurring Engineering Qty 1. This requirement is sole sourced to Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation, 2955 Kerner Blvd., Suite D, San Rafael, California 94901 as the only vendor able to produce this part with the following requirements: Jitter less than 25 Picoseconds RMS, Ethernet interface as well as manually controlled from a front panel interface, and must be upgraded with a custom Gate Input to allow starting the pulse train in alignment with an external signal. Any firms believing that they can provide the materials may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
