The U.S. Department of Commerce, through NOAA and the National Weather Service, is seeking quotations for the purchase of 100 packages of the Punch, Fischer & Porter (F&P) Belfort Model No. 402B014T60 rain gages. Each package contains 100 units, and the specified rain gage model uses a unique paper punch mechanism essential for accurate precipitation recording, compatible solely with the Belfort Model 401B rain gage. This procurement is conducted under FAR Part 12 for commercial items, as a firm-fixed price, total small business set-aside with a procurement period requiring delivery within 45 calendar days of award. Written quotations must be submitted within 15 calendar days and include mandatory certifications such as FAR 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications, CCR registration, price quotes referencing the solicitation number, and delivery schedules. The Government may award based on initial proposals without discussions. Proposals can be submitted via email or fax to the designated contract specialist, and all offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry and have a DUNS number. The solicitation references a NAICS code of 335999 and incorporates standard FAR terms and conditions applicable to commercial item procurements.
