NASA/GRC is seeking to acquire a Fluke Temperature Reference System to meet upcoming testing requirements. The required equipment includes a compact bath, a Black Stack base unit thermometer, an 8-channel PRT scanner module, a 2-channel standard thermistor module, thermistor standard probes, silicone oil, and a floor cart. Because these components match the make and model of existing units already in use at the facility, the government intends to purchase them directly from Fluke Electronics Corporation under FAR Part 12 for commercial items. This presolicitation, identified by solicitation number NNC15554032Q, allows interested organizations to submit their capabilities and qualifications to the designated point of contact by July 7, 2015. The government will evaluate these submissions to determine if the procurement will be conducted on a competitive basis or as a sole-source acquisition. All responses must be submitted in writing, as oral communications are not permitted, and the process is subject to NASA Clause 1852.215-84 regarding the Center Ombudsman.
