The National Guard Bureau is seeking a sole source service contract for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of Forward Looking Infrared camera systems. This requirement covers FLIR 7500, 8500, and SAFFIRE/Star SAFFIRE systems installed on UH-60, OH-58, UH-72, and CH-47 rotary wing aircraft, as well as all ARNG fixed wing assets. Because these systems are highly complex and the original warranties have expired, specialized factory sustainment is necessary to ensure operational combat readiness. FLIR Systems Inc. has been identified as the only responsible source capable of fulfilling this contract as the original equipment manufacturer and the only entity authorized by the Aviation and Missile Command to provide these specific services. The scope of work includes everything from basic antenna shielding and circuit card repairs to full system modernizations and technical support. Performance of these services will take place within the continental United States.
