SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE FEDTEDS WEBSITE (www.fedteds.gov). Solicitation will be issued on or about May 24, 2007. Solicitation is for a firm fixed price contact. The Walla Walla District Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for an Underwater Camera for inspection of the Lower Monumental Lock and Dam submerged traveling screens (STSs) and vertical barrier screens (VBS) in accordance with the fish passage plan. The camera is guided down into the water to situate between the screens and slot openings. These functional requirements limit size and dictate that the camera be designed for this operational configuration and orientation. Additionally, water flow through this area during operation of the camera requires a streamlined shape that minimizes flow induced vibration and movement. The camera shall be an Inukton Spectrum 90 PTZ (WISL00008) or approved equal. ADMINISTRATION: North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334511 and the size standard is less than 750. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors can access the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. For contracting opportunities, visit the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOp ps) site, www.fbo.gov.
