AI Contract Overview

The contract involves the development of advanced gunnery training systems specifically for the M1A1 platform, focusing on highly detailed and realistic simulation components. "Ground Instrumentation" refers to individual display panel boards for the commander and gunner, designed to replicate the physical operation of all controls required to manage the vehicle’s weapons systems. These panels are built to scale and allow both positions to operate simultaneously in a synchronized manner. For shipboard versions, the system utilizes a compact, transportable touchscreen replica with auxiliary hand controls and sight devices to accommodate the different operational environment while maintaining ease of setup. Furthermore, the contract stipulates that the training systems must support "Ground Instrumentation System Integration," enabling them to conduct combined training sessions together with other gunnery trainers across various armored combat vehicle platforms. This includes interfacing with systems of equal or higher fidelity, such as Deployable and Institutional Advanced Gunnery Training Systems (AGTS), to simulate multi-vehicle scenarios. The integrated system must recognize and accurately represent additional vehicles within training exercises, ensuring realistic, collaborative combat training environments across multiple platforms.

Q: "Industry" requests clarification to the definition of "Ground Instrumentation" and"Ground Instrumentation System Integration" in paragraphs 2 and 3 respectively. A: Paragraph 2): "Ground Instrumentation" is defined as the respective "commander" and "gunner" individual display panel boards; replicated to scale, which includes the physical operation of all switches, toggles, knobs, gauges, indicators, controls, lights, sights, viewfinder and optics that are required to operate the vehicle's weapons systems from these positions. Each trainer should allow for the commander and gunner to operate in tandem. The shipboard variation may be touch screen replica imulating panel display board and the use of either ancillary or auxiliary hand control and sight devices. Shipboard system is to be compact and transportable with minimal setting up required. Paragraph 3): "Ground Instrumentation System Integration" is defined as the ability for the trainer to conduct combined training with other gunnery trainers of the same and or other armored combat vehicle platforms of the same or higher fidelity trainers such as the Deployable AGTS and Institutional AGTS. (i.e. the LAV training system should be able to interface and conduct simultaneous training with other LAV and M1A1 trainers Tabletop, Deployable and Institutional AGTS; the system should also recognize and represent the additional trainer as the appropriate vehicle in the scenario).

Marine Corps Cyberspace Environment (MCCE) Operational Support Services (OSS) and Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration
Solicitation # M6785426I4208
The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) is conducting market research via Request for Information M67854-26-I-4208 to identify commercial partners for the Marine Corps Cyberspace Environment (MCCE) Operational Support Services (OSS) and Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration. The primary objective is to secure skilled, professional IT touch-labor services under a Government-Owned, Government-Operated, Contractor-Supported (GOGOCS) model. While the focus remains on providing DCWF-certified personnel, the government is seeking innovative ways to integrate AI and automation as embedded components of the service delivery model to increase operational efficiency and reduce manual labor costs over time. The government is specifically exploring service-based ordering models, such as procuring hours of service or specific outcomes rather than individual labor categories. For pricing purposes, any contractor-provided proprietary tooling costs must be included within fully burdened labor rates, as this is a services acquisition. Interested respondents must submit a capabilities narrative limited to five pages, a vendor comment matrix in Excel format with a 300-word limit per cell, and optional supplementary materials not exceeding fifteen pages. The current response deadline is November 3, 2026, at 1:00 P.M.
