Contractor to provide full Architect/Engineering services as required to prepare complete contract drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, including services throughout construction period for Project No. 581-CSI-101 Renovate Buildings 7 & 8 for MH PRRTP for the VA Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. The project consists of a Renovation of duplex quarters Bldgs. 7 & 8, including new construction addition to meet program requirements. Psychological Residential Rehabilitative Treatment Program (PRRTP). Construction Cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Area of consideration is limited to a 500 mile radius of the Huntington West Virginia VA Medical Center. Firms desiring consideration must submit THREE copies of SF 330, not later than 2:00 PM CT, 9-18-08. This procurement will be open to both large and small businesses. NAICS 541310. Contract award is subject to the availability of VA funds. A/E Selection criteria will include: 1) Professional qualifications necessary for performance of required services; 2) specialized experience and technical competence of the A/E firm with similar type projects; 3) past performance on contracts with Government agencies; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) experience and roles of key design personnel, specifically on related projects; 6) cost control and estimating effectiveness.
