Amendment 1 for solicitation 140032, titled Ten Targets and a Backer, provides critical clarifications regarding technical specifications, shipping, and sampling for the Department of Homeland Security. The USSS maintains specific overlay dimensions, including additional space at the top for hanging, and requires that any exceptions to these requirements be noted in the proposal. While samples must be sent to the Communications Center in Washington, DC, final delivery for the awarded contract will be to zip code 20708. To assist with sample creation in the absence of final artwork, the USSS will provide pictures, JPEG files, and physical samples upon request. Packaging requirements mandate that all targets be shipped in flat boxes, with quantities ranging from 100 to 500 per case. Shipments must be restricted to single standard-sized pallets. Regarding the delivery schedule, the USSS anticipates placing a Delivery Order for the minimum quantity of each item within 30 days of the IDIQ award, with potential subsequent orders if option years are exercised.
