NOTE: This Notice of Intent is being posted in place of solicitation W912JB-09-T-9100, which was posted 31 Mar 09. Cancel W912JB-09-T-9100 and replace it in its entirety with the following: The Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), Alpena, MI 49707-8125 herby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Systems Atlanta, Inc (SAI). This is an upgrade and replacement of equipment that has met the end of its projected life cycle. The equipment and software required are (1) SAIs Windows Mini Workstation Package (nine workstations, keyboard, mouse or trackball, dual video capable); (2) SAIs IDS5 System Administrator Upgrade package; (3) USB to RS-232/485 Serial Interface Adapter 2 port; (4) Miscellaneous installation materials (2 each connectors and cables for I/F secondary connections); (5) In-house engineering services for system configuration, staging, site specific database conversion/upload, and testing of SAI proprietary IDS5 software onto AFAS compatible hardware components uses the SAI engineered Air Force AFAS image (FFP); (6) First year hardware maintenance and support; (7) 2 year extended hardware maintenance and support. The total solution is required at the Alpena CRTC Control Tower and Radar Approach Control (RAPCON). The proposed contract action is for Non-Developmental, commercially available equipment/software with incidental vendor (in-house) services for which the Air Force intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This acquisition is a follow-on effort to Purchase Order DAHA20-03-P-9007 for the original purchase of the IDS5 system. Acquisition of mini workstations and associated hardware/software to replace previously installed equipment used with IDS5 will complete this system upgrade and replacement. This solicitation is unrestricted for all business concerns concerns qualified under the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 211210. All prospective offerors must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
