The College of Professional Development at Maxwell Air Force Base is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to explore the availability of a classroom management system designed for two computer classrooms, each consisting of one instructor workstation and 24 student workstations. The system must be hardware-based to avoid bandwidth issues and should allow the instructor to project their screen onto individual, grouped, or all student screens, monitor any student workstation, display student screens on a projector, and control student workstations from the instructor’s station. This RFI is strictly for market research purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee of contract award or payment. Interested firms are requested to provide basic company information, including business name, size, address, point of contact, and confirmation of their ability to supply the requested system. Submissions must be in writing and clearly mark any proprietary information; oral responses will not be accepted. Responses are due by September 9, 2005, and while the government will review the information provided, this process is intended to assess commercial capabilities and may lead to further discussions. The primary contract specialist contact is TSgt Chad M. Hankins, who can be reached by phone or fax for any inquiries.
