NASA/JSC has an immediate requirement for a quantity of 30 each of IGL OPEN GLES/SC software GPU licenses and 12 months' support for the product.NASA/JSC intends to purchase the licenses and support directly from the manufacturer,ENSCO Avionics/IData Visual Systems Group, because the software is proprietory to themanufacturer. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 5:00 p.m. local timeon the above noted date. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely forthe purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitivebasis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a fulland open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within thediscretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
