Full Description

The Government intends to issue a Sole Source contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to Crystal Group, Inc., (Crystal) located at 850 Kacena Road Hiawatha, IA 52233-1204 for the procurement of environmental upgrades to previously purchased Crystal Group, Inc., computers to bring them in compliance with Navy standards for shipboard equipment. Upgrades shall be in accordance with mitigation efforts conducted by Crystal Group, Inc., during Global Broadcast Service (GBS) environmental testing and shall maintain existing warranties. All modification details and installation procedures for the environmental upgrades are proprietary to Crystal. The Government anticipates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract under the procedures described in FAR Part 15. The NAICS Code is 334119 and the applicable size standard is 1,000 employees. NO SOLICITATION WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
