Full Description

ESC/HGGI located at Maxwell Air Force (AFB) - Gunter Annex, AL has a requirement to renew its maintenance support on T-2000 Servers for the Combat Ammunition Support (CAS) program. This document constitutes justification on award for hardware for the CAS application described herein, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). The award of the resulting requirement will be executed on behalf of ESC/HGGI Maintenance Branch in support of the Combat Ammunition Support (CAS) program listed in paragraph III of this document. This individual Justification and Approval is to issue a new delivery order. ESC/HGGK and ESC/HGGI, located at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB)-Gunter Annex propose to purchase maintenance support for its T2000 SUN Server for one (1) year service contract plan for maintenance and technical support of the requested items. This requirement will be posted to Hansom's Electronic Request for proposal Bulletin Board (HERBB) as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Govern! ment will include the statement that it intends to award this requirement to ORACLE, as a sole source acquisition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) as the hardware is proprietary to ORACLE
