Full Description

The US ARMY Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis a purchase order to Simunet (d/b/a Adaptive Research, Inc.), of Honolulu, HI 96826 for the purchase of License Upgrades for CFD2000 Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Software Package required for ongoing Research and Development Projects. This procurement is being issued using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. The authority for the sole source procurement is cited at FAR 13.106-1. This is not a request for quotations. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officers within 10 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
